Rob Joiner (writer & Bostick)
Rob lives and works in Birmingham. This is his first professionally produced play.
He graduated with an MPhil from Birmingham University in 2010 and currently works nationally and internationally as an actor.
Matthew Brockington (Cank)
Matthew Brockington has recently been touring with Melting Pot Theatre Company’s ensemble production of Hamlet which has played in Worcester and Birmingham. Other theatre credits include Anthony Neilson’s The Censor, Hoederer in Les Mains Sales by Jean-Paul Sartre, Reverend Hale in The Crucible, Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew and Lord Byron in Howard Brenton’s Bloody Poetry. He has directed Six Characters in Search of an Author for Up’n’Running, and Macbeth and Shelagh Stevenson’s The Memory of Water for Melting Pot. Matthew plays violin and trumpet in the band Slow Train. This is Matthew’s first involvement with Capital Festival and he is very excited to be involved with high quality new writing.
Kerry Murdock (director)
Kerry Murdock is a theatre based director. She formed Friction Theatre in 2007 specifically to produce new writing in theMidlands.
